FORM: 2011 Update!

While we unfortunately did not meet our Kickstarter goal, we are happy to announce a generous sponsorship donation from
Binders Art Supplies & Frames. Binders’ support will significantly offset the cost of publishing FORM: artistic independence 2011. In addition, WE Design Atlanta is now an affiliated partner in Binders’ Atlanta Give Back Program.
Mention FORM: artistic independence with every purchase you make at Binders, and 5% of your purchase goes right back to future publications of FORM: artistic independence! This gets us one step closer to publishing subsequent editions of FORM at no cost.
We are still committed to getting each of our 2011 artists published for free, and have launched a new sponsorship page at www.wedesignatlanta.org. Please click through to see how you can help us reach this goal!

Thank you, Binders Art Supplies & Frames!

I Think We’re On Kickstarter Now

The other day, someone asked us how we came up with the concept for our FORM: 2011 Kickstarter vid and it’s the funniest story! Well, not funny per se, but…we digress.

Being fans of dark, slighty disturbing documentaries, we have to say, inspiration came from the end credits of “I Think We’re Alone Now,” a 2008 film that details the lives of two adult men completely and utterly obsessed with 1980’s teen pop sensation Tiffany. We wish we had a cooler story, but – there you have it.

Check out the trailer for ITWAN (yeah, we’ve watched it enough times to drop that acronym) and then for your Saturday afternoon good deed, please support our Kickstarter campaign in any way you can! We’ve got a little more than a month to reach our goal, so now we’re kicking it into high gear. Oooh, bad pun. Sorry!

Elevate / Art Above Underground

Here are a few shots from our jaunt through Elevate / Art Above Underground last night. This is a great program to revitalize the Upper Alabama Street corridor in Downtown Atlanta, and will be on display through October 30. Be sure to check out the beauty happening in our city!
