Call For Artists!
In addition to our open submissions for FORM: artistic independence 2010, we have another opportunity for artists to submit work:
MINT and WE Design Atlanta are looking for artwork in any medium/size for our joint end of the summer party, WHAM: Wet Hot American Mixer. This party is inspired by the cult film “Wet Hot American Summer,” and will be held Sept. 25 at The Goat Farm from 5 p.m. to midnight. The artwork must be an interpretation of “What I Did On My Summer Vacation…“ Think big juicy hot dogs, wet t-shirts, sweaty concerts, exotic travels, camping, cleaning tar balls off the Gulf, sitting at home watching Netflix Instant Queue, or working your ass off, the possibilities are limitless!
MINT/WE Design will be receiving 50% of art sales. Please label the back of your artwork with your name, contact info (phone number and e-mail) and price.
All artwork should be dropped-off at MINT on Sunday, September 19th between 3 and 6pm or on Wednesday, September 22nd between 6 and 8pm. If neither of those times work, please call (404) 946-8982 to set up a time for your drop off.
For Googling references, MINT’s address is:
684 John Wesley Dobbs Ave, Unit B, Atlanta, GA, 30312
If you have any further questions or comments, feel free to contact Mike Germon (MINT’s Gallery Manager) at mike@mintatl.org, or give us a call.
The party will also feature games, live music, a corn on the cob bar, and much, much more! We’re expecting at least 300 attendees so this is a great way to get your name out to a large group of people.
We look forward to seeing your work!
