Call for Volunteers
WE Design Atlanta is currently looking for volunteers to assist with our growing list of creative projects. If you have interest in working with us as a volunteer and would like more details, please see the volunteers page on our blog. That’s where you’ll also find our volunteer application available for download.
WHAM: Wet Hot American Mixer
We like to stay busy, and right now WE Design Atlanta and MINT Gallery are currently in planning mode for our upcoming end-of-summer event, Wet Hot American Mixer (WHAM). Slated for September 25 at The Goat Farm, WHAM will be a celebration of all things summer, and will feature an art gallery, live music and plenty of fun activities to send summer off with a bang.
We would love to have as many volunteers, artists and creative partners as possible to help make this event a success. If you are an artist interested in showing in our gallery, a vendor looking to assist in edibles or beverages, or simply looking to lend a hand any way you can, get in touch with us!
FORM: artistic independence
FORM: artistic independence 2010 is the third installment of our acclaimed art book that features the creative work of some of Atlanta’s best artists. Submissions for FORM: 2010 open August 3 and close September 14. We accept works from visual artists of all stripes – photographers, graphic designers, sculptors, and more. Essentially, anything that can be photographically represented in our book is fair game for submissions. For further details on the submission process, please click here.
We will be having our release party for FORM: artistic independence 2010 on Thursday, December 10 at Eyedrum Gallery, and will need volunteers for this event as well as a street team to help out with promotions. Copies of our 2009 softcover edition are available on CreateSpace, Amazon and at select retail locations in Atlanta. Hardcover editions of FORM: 2009 are also available in limited quantity. Please contact us if you’d like a hardcover copy to call your own.
